How to root Android with Samsung Odin
Requirements
- Download CF auto root File on the PC
- Download Samsung Odin
- Enable USB debugging (Settings --> General --> About phone --> Build number --> tap 5 times --> You are a developer now --> USB debugging --> Enable)
- Sufficient battery power is necessary
- Install Samsung Drivers to PC
- Back up al the Data
How to Root Android
- Download Odin from its official page to your PC
- Extract the zip file and run the .exe file as administrator.
- Select “PDA” / “AP” and browse to “CF-Autroot-tar file
- Tick “F.Reset Time” and “Auto-Reboot”
- Put the device into download mode
- Connect the device to PC
- When the windows connected with the device “ID:COM box” gets blue.
- Click “Start”
- Once the Android device rooted successfully select “SuperSu” from the app drawer
- Install a root checker and check the root status
